Who are Strive Mortgages?
Strive Mortgages started from humble beginnings in a bedroom in Brighton and has quickly grown into a well-established, experienced team of mortgage brokers who all share the same values – a great work ethic, a desire to take the mystery out of mortgages and a genuine interest in helping people.
Our Director and Founder, Jamie Elvin, began his career in financial services during the credit crunch in 2008, which was somewhat of a baptism of fire! However, it gave him a unique insight, and he went on to gain a wealth of knowledge of the ups and downs of the property market in various senior roles.

Jamie’s love of the industry and experience in dealing with customers led him to explore how mortgages could be made easier. He became determined to form a brokerage that could deliver a more personalised, transparent and thoughtful service, and Strive Mortgages was born.
Jamie’s “yes can do” attitude is infectious, and the entire Strive team are motivated to work hard for our customers.
