I would really recommend Jack Johnson. As a first time buyer he ensured the whole process of sorting out a mortgage was easy to understand and straightforward. Easy to contact and quick to respond. Everything you need and want in an advisor when looking to buy a property!

I dealt with Jack, he made the whole process so smooth and explained everything to me. I would definitely recommend him, as a first time buyer I didn’t know how anything worked but Jack made sure I understood everything each step of the way

As a first-time buyer, I was very fortunate to have Greg at Strive Mortgage as my mortgage broker. Not only did he handle my mortgage efficiently, but he also took the time to explain the entire conveyancing process to me, which really put me at ease. With so many costs associated with buying a home we were initially against using a mortgage broker so decided to do it ourselves and ended up with an agreement in principle offer from Natwest so we decided to put an offer in on a house - which was accepted. When we went to apply, however, they rejected us so we reached out to strive who were able to get us a mortgage (with Natwest, no less). Greg was professional and reassured us he'd get it through from first contact - and even managed to put us in contact with a solicitor after ours let us down 6 weeks into the process. To add to it, the interest rate Strive managed to secure was less than we were initially expecting, saving us thousands in the long run, meaning the initial £300 we spent on Strive was well worth it.
