With so many costs associated with buying a home we were initially against using a mortgage broker so decided to do it ourselves and ended up with an agreement in principle offer from Natwest so we decided to put an offer in on a house - which was accepted. When we went to apply, however, they rejected us so we reached out to strive who were able to get us a mortgage (with Natwest, no less). Greg was professional and reassured us he'd get it through from first contact - and even managed to put us in contact with a solicitor after ours let us down 6 weeks into the process. To add to it, the interest rate Strive managed to secure was less than we were initially expecting, saving us thousands in the long run, meaning the initial £300 we spent on Strive was well worth it.
